FALLBROOK : Bicyclist Hit, Killed by Car
A bicyclist was hit by a car and killed in Fallbrook, the California Highway Patrol said Friday.
Artemio Villasenor Montillo, 20, of Fallbrook was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday afternoon at Gum Tree and Stage Coach lanes, a coroner’s deputy said.
Montillo was riding west on Gum Tree Lane and lost control of his bike, falling to the pavement, authorities said. While on the ground, he was run over by a car driven by Dolores Casteneda of Vista.
