CASTAIC : Search for Missing Woman Called Off
Sheriff’s detectives called off their search Tuesday for a Castaic woman missing since she left for work 12 days ago, saying the woman left for personal reasons, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
“The Sheriff’s Department is no longer pursuing the case,” Deputy Ron Weber said. “She left on her own accord for personal reasons.”
Huong Nguyen, 42, left her home Dec. 4 but never arrived at the Northridge office where she worked, authorities said. Her husband reported her missing when she did not return from work that evening.
