Packer linebacker Johnny Holland has a herniated disk in his neck and has been advised not to play again until the condition is corrected.
General Manager Ron Wolf said, however, the injury to the six-year veteran is not career-threatening.
Burnell Dent will start in place of Holland on Sunday.
