Four Simi Valley teen-agers have been arrested in connection with a four-month vandalism spree in which they allegedly used a pellet gun to shoot out the windows of at least 64 cars, authorities said Thursday.
Russell Bolton II, 18, was arrested Wednesday, along with two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy whose names were not released because of their ages, said Simi Valley Detective Doug Pedersen.
Bolton was arrested on suspicion of 64 counts of felony vandalism, and the juveniles were arrested on 13 misdemeanor vandalism counts each, he said.
Pedersen said the citywide spree that started in September caused an estimated $15,000 worth of damage. The youths operated during night hours, he said.
The investigation is continuing, Pedersen said.
