AHMANSON RANCH : 2 More Suits Filed Opposing Project
- Share via
Two more legal challenges have been filed to block the Ahmanson Ranch housing project, joining seven other suits opposing the development in the Simi Hills.
Calabasas resident Theodore Rosenquist has filed a suit against the Ventura County Board of Supervisors, as have Woodland Hills lawyers Charles Green and Timothy Sabo.
A total of nine suits have been filed, contending that the Ventura County Board of Supervisors erred in approving the massive housing development on Dec. 15.
The project will be built entirely within Ventura County, but most of the adverse effects, such as traffic, will be felt most sharply in west Los Angeles County, critics say.
Included in the other actions were lawsuit filings by Calabasas, Malibu, the city of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County.
