Fountain Valley 2, Westminster 1--Christa Wemmer and Laurie Gillis scored goals for Fountain Valley. Westminster (6-6, 0-5) got a goal from Stephanie Wilson.

In the Century League:

Canyon 7, Villa Park 0--Kim Campbell scored four goals and Karen Gremer had two for Canyon (14-2, 3-0), which is ranked sixth in the county.

El Modena 0, Foothill 0--Goalie Beth Osborne made 15 saves for visiting Foothill (1-3-1 in league). El Modena is 10-3-2, 2-1-1.

Orange 4, Santa Ana Valley 0--Laura Roundy scored two goals for Orange (9-4-2, 3-1).

In the Empire League:

El Dorado 2, Loara 0--Kelly Bogan and Shannon Myrand each scored for visiting El Dorado (9-6-1, 3-1-1). Loara is 5-8, 1-4.

Esperanza 1, Cypress 0--Kathy Haerle scored in the first half for Esperanza (6-7-5, 3-1-1). Cypress is 4-6-0, 1-4.

La Quinta 1, Rancho Alamitos 1--Kellie Hogancamp scored the tying goal with three minutes remaining for visiting La Quinta (4-9-2, 1-1-2). Amanda Varner scored a first-half goal for Rancho Alamitos, which is 1-2-1 in league.

Pacifica 3, Bolsa Grande 1--Valerie Downen, Corrie Veary and Joi Guenther each scored goals for visiting Pacifica (4-4-2, 3-0). Jennifer Stephenson had 17 saves for Bolsa Grande (0-3 in league).

In the Orange League:

Brea-Olinda 2, Savanna 0--Amy Alexander and Kristen Watts scored for Brea-Olinda (8-6-2, 4-0). Goalkeeper Juli Evers had one save to post her seventh shutout. Savanna is 7-6-1, 2-1-1. Valencia 3, Anaheim 2--Amber Bickey scored twice and Stefanie Baldwin scored the game-winner with eight minutes left for Valencia (4-7-1, 2-1). Anaheim fell to 2-7, 1-3.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Estancia 3, Laguna Beach 0--Tita Tavares had a goal and an assist and Lauren Weaver and Tia Newland each added goals for visiting Estancia (10-4-3, 3-0). Laguna Beach is 2-5, 1-1.

Laguna Hills 7, Century 0--Seven players scored for Laguna Hills (11-6, 3-0), which got the 10th shutout of the season from Sarah Lang.

Trabuco Hills 4, Costa Mesa 0--Goalkeeper Shannon Pickett made two saves in recording her sixth shutout of the season as Trabuco Hills (10-7, 2-2) topped Costa Mesa (3-4, 1-2).

In the Sea View League:

Irvine 1, Newport Harbor 0--Michelle Kennedy scored on a first-half penalty kick for host Irvine (11-4-3, 4-1-2). Newport Harbor is 6-9, 1-5.

Santa Margarita 3, Woodbridge 0--The Eagles extended their unbeaten string to 12 games with the victory at Woodbridge. Jenna Zanotti, Tiffany Brown and Claire Wels each scored a goal for Santa Margarita (9-1-6, 5-0-1).

University 1, Corona del Mar 1--Kathleen Pitchess scored for University (5-6-2, 3-2-2). Stefanie Hughes scored for Corona del Mar.

In Sunset League field hockey:

Santiago 1, Westminster 0--Claudia Aguilar scored for Santiago (12-0-3, 8-0-1), which didn’t allow a shot on goal. It was the 11th shutout of the season for Santiago goalkeeper Cossett Verona.

In Empire League wrestling:

Esperanza 66, Cypress 6--Mike Grigoruk improved to 22-5 with a pin in 1 minute 39 seconds for Esperanza (2-0 in league). Grigoruk has not lost to an Orange County wrestler this season.
