The South Gate forward collected 29 points, 22 rebounds and nine assists in two Southeastern Conference victories. Gonzalez had 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a 56-21 victory over Locke. She added 12 points, 12 rebounds and four assists as the Rams beat Jefferson, 50-38.
Other top prep performers:
Nicole Page led undefeated Gethsemane Baptist, a Long Beach school, to a pair of Express League victories. She scored 39 points, grabbed 22 rebounds and had 10 steals in a 65-29 victory over Calvary Chapel of Downey. She added 28 points in a 67-7 rout of Huntington Beach Claremont that improved the Crusaders’ record to 8-0.
Nicole Kelly, a Lakewood soccer player, scored two goals in a 14-0 victory over Compton, and two more as the Lancers defeated Millikan, 2-0.
