THANKS, DON: It’s a small thing, but ironic. . . . Now that outgoing Supervisor Don R. Roth has emptied his desk and moved on (B1), what happens to his county-owned 1992 Chevrolet Caprice? It will go to one of Roth’s bitterest political foes, Sheriff Brad Gates, whose department has scads of county-owned cars. . . . Gates will assign Roth’s Chevy to “undercover work,” said county Transportation Manager Bob Stechmann.
