That’s the Ticket

To get plane tickets for a trip to Egypt, I called a ticket service agency advertised in The Times and sent my check to their office--a good 50 miles away. I was told the tickets would be mailed. I made several follow-up phone calls and was told repeatedly that they would be mailed or that they had been mailed. On our departure date, we had to insist that a courier meet us at LAX with the tickets. Thank God, he was there.
We’ve been home two weeks now--had a wonderful time--and those tickets still haven’t arrived.
