Springsteen Benefits: Bruce Springsteen’s only two American shows of 1993 will be benefit concerts in the New York City area this month. A June 24 show at New Jersey’s Meadowlands’ Brendan Byrne Arena will support various hunger charities, and the June 26 show at New York’s Madison Square Garden will benefit the Kristen Ann Carr Fund, which funds research on sarcoma, a rare form of cancer in children and young adults.
