Buena Park Woman Struck by Car, Dies

BUENA PARK — A 71-year-old Buena Park woman died Friday shortly after being struck by a car.
Police said Willma J. Lyon was hit shortly before 7 a.m. by a motorist turning north on Beach Boulevard from Manchester Boulevard, police said.
Lyon carried no identification and police at first had trouble identifying her.
The driver of the car was not cited, pending an ongoing investigation, police said.
