Seven Students Receive $1,000 Glendale Grants

Seven area students have received $1,000 interest-free student loans through the Glendale Community Foundation.
From Glendale: Lisa Bernaldo, attending Glendale Community College; Steven Cugley, UC San Diego; and Gina Giambra, Loyola Law School; La Crescenta: Kelly Heap, UC San Diego; Philip Heap, USC; and Joslyn Siminski, Loyola Marymount University.
All received loans from the Pearl Gray Student Loan Fund for local students studying any curriculum.
Gretchen Grabenstatter of Glendale, attending Pacific Oaks College, received a loan from the Phyllis Campbell Student Loan Fund for local students studying to educate handicapped students.
