Village Christian 45, Maranatha 3--Running back Jake Funk rushed for 154 yards in 19 carries and scored three touchdowns for the Crusaders in the Alpha League game at San Marino High.
Running back Enrique Borja added 50 yards and a touchdown in 11 carries as Village Christian rushed for 248 yards. Quarterback Mike Spielman threw a touchdown pass and also scored on a 51-yard interception return.
