The Region : DMV to Open on Saturdays

Beginning in January, some local Department of Motor Vehicles offices will be open Saturdays.
DMV officials say they are tailoring their office hours to better serve the community.
Offices in Pasadena and Pomona will be open Saturday starting Jan. 8.
The Pasadena office, 49 S. Rosemead Blvd., will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
The Pomona office, 1600 S. Garey Ave, will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
The Pomona and Pasadena offices will be closed Mondays.
Drivers can use offices in West Covina and Glendale that day.
The department’s West Covina office will be open 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the Glendale office 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 3.
