AT&T;, McCaw Cellular Form Two Task Forces: American Telephone & Telegraph and McCaw Cellular Communications, which have yet to win approval for their merger from the California Public Utilities Commission, plan to announce today action aimed at ensuring that emerging communications technologies are accessible to all Americans, according to people familiar with the agreement. The companies will announce the formation of two task forces to study how to make wireless and other technologies affordable to minority and low-income customers and to people with disabilities.
