In nonleague girls’ basketball:
Century 35, Saddleback 29--Nina Alexander scored 14 points and Addy Alexander had 10 points to lead Century (7-2).
Dana Hills 68, Las Vegas Durango 11--Karun Grossman had 38 points and six three-pointers, both single-game school records, for Dana Hills (6-2).
Orange Lutheran 61, Orange 57--Kristin Weddick scored 25 points for host Orange Lutheran (4-4). Mary Adam had 14 points for Orange.
Santa Ana Valley 49, Savanna 28--Velina Gibson scored 20 points for Santa Ana Valley.
Mission Viejo 57, Esperanza 48--Treva Whitaker had 16 points and Jill Barker and Tami Higham each added 11 for Mission Viejo (6-2), which outscored the Aztecs, 22-11, in the second half. Jodie Howard had 17 points for Esperanza (4-4).
In the La Puente tournament:
La Habra 45, Pomona Garey 25--Brooke Koehler had 11 points and Amy Lien had 10 points and 11 rebounds for La Habra (5-3) in a quarterfinal victory.
In the Villa Park tournament:
University 57, Aliso Niguel 34--Jennifer Stanley scored 26 points, and Pamela Loud had 10 points, 16 rebounds and seven steals to lead University (2-2) to the round-robin victory. Deanna Mitchelson scored 20 points for Aliso Niguel (0-7).
Villa Park 52, Calvary Chapel 34--Michelle Miake led Villa Park (10-1) with 20 points, including 14 in first quarter. Blythe Linsey led Calvary Chapel with 22 points.
