Archie Williams
SCHOOL: Reseda
SPORT: Basketball
YEAR: Senior
SEASON AT A GLANCE: Williams played at Santa Monica High last season, averaging a team-high 17 points a game. He hasn’t missed a beat at Reseda, averaging 17.3 points and 4.8 rebounds for the 8-0 Regents. A 6-foot-3 off-guard, Williams has signed a letter of intent with Texas El Paso.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Williams can play the point, off-guard, swingman and small-forward positions. In four victories last week, he topped the 20-point plateau three times while playing almost everywhere. Particularly impressive was his production Friday, when a scheduling glitch forced Reseda to play twice in the same day. Williams scored 20 points in a 72-61 victory over Palisades, then added 24 to help Reseda defeat Crescenta Valley, 72-65, in the championship game of the Crescenta Valley tournament.
