El Modena has hired Charles Dye as its softball coach, Athletic Director Fred Gale announced Thursday.
Dye, a former member of the Houston Astro organization, most recently was an assistant softball coach at Rancho Santiago College. Previously, he had been the coach at Santa Clara University and at Westminster High.
He replaced Andy Koopman.
