What They Didn’t Like About the Super Bowl
When someone defiles our national anthem, it is like spitting on our flag, and it makes me angry.
At Super Bowl XXVIII, Natalie Cole and the accompanying choir got into the Roseanne Barr category with deviations, improvisations, inserting parts of other songs and stupid theatrics. This violates something that is revered by most Americans and it is time to put a stop to it.

As a fan of college football, I didn’t last long watching the Super Bowl. The pro game has devolved from sportsmanship to showmanship to showupmanship. I was repulsed by the gloating, the thuggery, the intimidation and humiliation on even the most routine of plays. The only football this game reminded me of was Damian (Football) Williams at the corner of Florence and Normandie.

Regarding Larry Stewart’s article on Bob Trumpy:
Atta boy, Larry, give it to them. I am so sick and tired of listening to the analyst tell us what kind of underwear a player is wearing or what he had for breakfast or what he is thinking. They talk too much and tell you too little.
