Walking the Lakes

I enjoyed the cover article on Dorothy Wordsworth and the Lake District (“Walks With Wordsworth,” April 3), but missed mention of the splendid guide, “Wordsworth and the Lake District,” by David McCracken, professor of English at the University of Washington. More detailed maps of your walks, for example, may be found in McCracken’s book (which is out of print in the United States, but is available in England and by special order from Oxford University Press, New York City).
