Motorola to Invest in Mexican Cellular Company: Motorola said it will invest more than $100 million in Baja Celular Mexicana to finance expansion of the Mexican company that controls cellular operations on the Baja California peninsula and in the northwestern states of Sonora and Sinaloa. Motorola will purchase 42% of Baja Celular Mexicana’s stock but will not participate in the company’s daily operations, a Baja Celular spokesman said.
