Splash Takes Down Portland

Rod Castro scored the first and last goals as the Splash beat the Portland Pride, 8-2, in a Continental Indoor Soccer League game on Monday in Portland in front of 4,336 fans.

Castro and Doug Neeley scored two goals each for Anaheim (7-2), which was coming off a 13-9 victory over San Jose Saturday. Castro has scored in all nine games this season.

Dale Ervine added three assists for the Splash, which led, 4-0, at the half and, 7-1, after three quarters.
