‘Up Beat’ Presentation Deserves a Bonus

Re “On the Up Beat” (July 8): Writer Duane Noriyuki and photographer Robert Durrell deserve a bonus--and certainly journalistic accolades--for such a delightful, warm, touching presentation. Congratulations to them and The Times.
If only we had more cops on the streets like Cliff Lloyd and Roger Gaylord.
