Bangladeshi Gets $20,000 Swedish Writing Prize

STOCKHOLM — Taslima Nasrin, the Bangladeshi author who took refuge in Sweden because of death threats in her homeland, received a $20,000 award Monday for writers seeking solitude.
Sweden’s branch of the international writers group PEN awarded Nasrin the Kurt Tulcholsky Prize.
