AGOURA HILLS : Programs Offered for Teen-Agers
- Share via
The city of Agoura Hills’ Department of Community Services wants to help teen-agers channel adolescent Angst into creative outlets.
This fall, teen-agers can enroll in the department’s karate class and learn how to use their heads to smash cinder blocks--or at least discover how to defend themselves and begin a stretching and muscle-building routine.
In other programs being offered, teen-agers can brush up on baby-sitting techniques in the department’s “Baby-sitting Tips for Teens” program.
The department also welcomes teen-agers on the three ski trips scheduled in January and February.
Additionally, a seminar is offered on how to cope with scholastic aptitude tests and how to select a good college.
