Family of the Year Nominations Open

CYPRESS — Forms needed to nominate families for the fourth annual Cypress Family of the Year competition are now available at city offices.
The forms also are available at many churches, clubs and businesses, city officials announced. The deadline for nominations is Oct. 14.
Selection of the winning family will be based on “service to the community, commitment to family values and on the quality of (family) relationships,” city officials said.
The selected family will be honored at the Nov. 14 City Council meeting, just in advance of National Family Week, Nov. 20-26.
