PREP ROUNDUP : Woodbridge Rallies Past Mater Dei in Tennis

Woodbridge, the fourth-ranked girls’ tennis team in Orange County, rallied to beat No. 9 Mater Dei, 10-8, Wednesday in a nonleague match at Woodbridge.
The Warriors (8-1) trailed, 4-2, after the first round. Woodbridge’s No. 2 doubles team of Ali Tenerelli and Julie Barraco swept its sets, 7-6, 7-6, 6-1, and Natalie Exon won, 6-0, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1 singles.
In other nonleague tennis:
Dana Hills 10, Corona del Mar 8--Nina Vaughan swept in singles, 6-4, 6-0, 6-2, for No. 10 Corona del Mar, but Lara Spica, Summer Tantee and Karlie Noyes each won two of three sets for visiting Dana Hills (5-2), ranked third in the county.
