McGraw to Sign With Villanova
Laguna Hills running back Brendan McGraw, who set the Orange County single-season touchdown record with 45, has made an oral commitment to play at Villanova, McGraw said Monday.
McGraw picked Villanova over Boston University, both Division I-AA programs. “Boston wanted me to play receiver and Villanova wants me to play running back and defensive back and that’s what I want to do, play running back,” McGraw said.

Los Alamitos defensive back Damon Houston has orally committed to Eastern Washington, Griffin football Coach John Barnes said.
Houston, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound defensive back, was a second-team All-Sunset League selection. Eastern Washington plays in the Big Sky Conference.

Edison boys’ Athletic Director Lyman Clower has taken a sabbatical, said Dave Mohs, interim boys’ athletic director.
Clower and his wife, Jean, will take an extended vacation and travel, Mohs said. When Clower returns, he will continue to serve as an assistant football coach and teach at the school.
