SIMI VALLEY : Activities to Enliven Youths’ Spring Break
- Share via
Offering an oasis of fun during the spring break doldrums for local youths, the Simi Valley Boys & Girls Club has set up its annual Spring Club.
During the week of April 10-14 and on April 17, the club is offering a range of activities to attract youths ages 7-15.
“Most of these kids’ parents work,” said Paula Mackelburg, a spokeswoman for the club. “If they didn’t come here, they would be at home alone and unsupervised.”
The charge for a day of activities is $8, and the half-day cost is $5, Mackelburg said. Some of the activities include a billiards tournament, touch football games and a baseball clinic. For information, call the club at 527-4437.
