Bergen Brunswig Corp.: The Orange pharmaceuticals company has signed a four-year deal with the Fred W. Albrecht Grocery Co. to become the primary supplier of health and beauty care products for the Ohio company’s 33 retail stores. The Albrecht stores, headquartered in Akron, include Acme Super Centers, Acme Grocery Stores and Y-Mart Pharmacies. Brunswig, with annual revenue of more than $8 billion, is the nation’s largest supplier of pharmaceuticals to the managed-care market and the second largest wholesaler to the retail pharmacy market.
