SAS to End Alliance With 2 Airlines: Scandinavian Airlines System said its newly announced cooperative agreement with Deutsche Lufthansa means it will end its current agreement with Swissair and Austrian Airlines. SAS Chief Executive Jan Stenberg told a news conference in Copenhagen that dissolution of the European Quality Alliance is necessary.
