Kissing on Campus

* Your School Watch editorial, “Love Story” (May 30), regarding efforts by Mission Viejo High School officials to tone down campus amorous activities brings to mind an old joke:
All the students at a small college were called to the school auditorium for an important announcement. The dean of women announced, “The dean of men and I have decided to stop kissing on campus.”
When the students all broke into hilarious laughter, she realized what she had said and tried to correct herself.
“I mean,” she said, “the dean of men and I are going to stop all this kissing that’s going on under our noses.”
Thanks for a little relief from grim topics.
