Nadadores Win Four Titles at Diving Invitational

MISSION VIEJO — Members of the Mission Viejo Nadadores won four events Friday at the Southern California Diving Invitational at the Marguerite International Swimming and Diving Complex.
The Nadadores’ Erica Sorgi dominated the girls’ 13-and-under one-meter event, winning with 341.35 points. Alexis Sowa of Rose Bowl Aquatics was second at 283.90. Amy Sloan won the girls’ 16-18 one-meter event with 369.60 points.
In the girls’ 14-15 three meter event: Delilah More of Mission Viejo finished first with 358.80, edging Francie McCoppin of Rose Bowl Aquatics, who had 335.05.
Mission Viejo’s Caroline Kelley and Erin McGinty won the women’s three-meter synchronized competition with 405.70 points.
Jimmy Sjodin of Sweden dominated the boys’ 16-18 three-meter competition, winning with 500.50 points. Sjodin is training with the Nadadores for the summer.
