An Irwindale company is offering a new line of checks featuring the bedroom eyes and slightly parted lips of Marilyn Monroe, after her recent big splash on the 32-cent stamp.
Checks In The Mail Inc. started offering the checks this month, featuring a specially commissioned oil painting by Glendale artist David Willardson. According to the actress’s estate, this is the first time Monroe’s image has appeared on a check. The price: $9.95 for 200 checks.
