Two men robbed a World Savings bank at gunpoint Thursday morning, escaping on foot after cleaning out several teller stations, police said.
At 9:20 a.m., the two suspects entered the bank at 6902 Warner Ave. armed with handguns and forced employees and two customers to lie on the floor, Lt. Luis Ochoa said.
They then took money from the teller stations and fled behind a nearby shopping center. No getaway vehicle was spotted, Ochoa said.
The robbers both wore dark clothing and had bandannas over their faces.
No shots were fired and no one was injured in the holdup.
