LEONA VALLEY — About 200 acres of brush were burning in the Leona Valley Friday night, but no structures were threatened, Los Angeles County firefighters said.
Five engines and four hand crews were battling the blaze at Bouquet Canyon and Elizabeth Lake Road, which broke out just before 8 p.m.
Fire officials said there were no reports of injuries. The cause of the blaze, which broke out in a relatively uninhabited area, was unknown, authorities said.
