Van Nuys : Canine-Themed Fair Needs Volunteers

Guinevere’s Dog-a-Faire, a daylong festival of competitions with dogs and their owners to be held on Aug. 20, needs volunteers.
Scheduled events include races and contests such as biggest dog, smallest dog, best-dressed dog, owner look-alikes and silliest tricks.
Proceeds will go to charities supporting animal causes, especially those that place pets who need homes. The event will be held at Woodley Avenue Park in Van Nuys.
