OJAI : Ideas, Volunteers Sought for Fiesta
Organizers of the 29th annual Ojai Mexican / American Fiesta will be looking for suggestions and other help at their planning meeting tonight at 7:30 at 338 E. Ojai Ave.
Those interested in donating goods or volunteering their time are urged to attend.
The fiesta begins Sept. 9 with a barbecue and runs through the next day with such activities as a moonlight dance and the queen’s coronation. Proceeds go toward scholarships for youngsters of Mexican-American heritage in the Ojai Valley. For more information, call 646-4757.
