VENTURA : Man Wounded in Shooting at Marina

A Ventura man was shot outside a bar at the Ventura Marina early Monday morning by an unknown assailant, police said.
Carlos Diaz Luna, 25, was treated and released from the Ventura County Medical Center for a gunshot wound to his thigh.
Luna was with friends at Alexander’s bar on Navigator Drive when he began arguing with several people, police said. The argument continued outside, at which time one man in the group retrieved a .25-caliber handgun from a car and shot Luna. The gunman and the others fled. Police are investigating the incident.
