In the Academy League:
Capistrano Valley Christian 3, Connelly 0--Carmen Fusco and Juliette Steele each had 12 kills to help Capistrano Valley Christian (10-4, 8-2) win, 15-6, 15-12, 15-9, and earn a share of the league title with St. Margaret’s and Connelly.
In the Arrowhead League:
Riverside La Sierra Academy 3, Southern California Christian 1--SCC (15-1, 9-1) lost, 2-15, 15-10, 15-8, 15-7, to share the league title with La Sierra.
In the Century League:
El Modena 3, Orange 1--Nicole Terry had 22 kills for host El Modena (15-1, 9-1), which won, 15-5, 15-4, 13-15, 15-8, to earn a share of the league title. Orange is 14-2, 9-1.
In the Empire League:
Katella 3, Century 2--Kellie Alva had 27 kills for Katella (10-4, 6-4), which defeated Century (10-6, 6-4), 15-13, 10-15, 10-15, 15-2, 15-5. The teams meet in a playoff at 3:15 p.m. today at Cypress to determine the league’s final automatic playoff entry.
Kennedy 3, El Dorado 0--Claire Lee had seven kills for Kennedy (12-4, 7-3), which won 15-1, 15-4, 15-13, to finish second behind league-champion Cypress (9-5, 9-1). Cypress defeated Loara, 15-3, 15-3, 15-3.
In the Garden Grove League:
Pacifica 3, La Quinta 0--Tracy Burns had 12 kills for league champion Pacifica (12-2, 12-0), which won, 15-11, 15-5, 15-4.
In the Olympic League:
Calvary Chapel 3, Cerritos Valley Christian 0--Jenny Roberts had 10 kills for host Calvary Chapel (12-2, 10-0), which won, 15-11, 15-1, 15-3. The Eagles are top-ranked in Division IV.
Whittier Christian 3, Brethren Christian 0--The Heralds (9-5, 6-4) clinched a playoff berth with a 15-7, 15-7, 15-7 victory.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Laguna Hills 3, Costa Mesa 0--Tayyiba Haneef had 14 kills and six blocks for Laguna Hills (9-7, 5-5), which won, 15-13, 15-12, 15-11 to clinch a playoff berth.
In the Sea View League:
Santa Margarita 3, Irvine 0--Sabrina King had 11 kills for sixth-ranked Santa Margarita in its 15-2, 15-11, 15-5 victory over Irvine. The Eagles (15-1, 9-1) earn a share of the league title with fifth-ranked Newport Harbor (10-5, 9-1), which defeated El Toro, 15-3, 15-12, 15-10.
Corona del Mar 3, Woodbridge 0--Corona del Mar (7-8, 5-5) won, 15-10, 15-4, 15-7, to tie Irvine (9-7, 5-5) for third in league.
In the Sunset League:
Huntington Beach 3, Fountain Valley 1--Melissa Wendt had 25 kills for Huntington Beach (17-0, 10-0), the top-ranked team in the county and Division I, which won, 15-3, 12-15, 15-3, 15-5.
