Steve Krupp
El Toro, Senior
Football/Quarterback
Last season, Krupp led the El Toro junior varsity to a 10-0 record. This year he led the varsity as far as it could go; the Chargers beat Servite, 27-17, for the Southern Section Division V title Friday. Krupp, as usual, was instrumental. He completed 14 of 21 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. Coach Mike Milner says Krupp calls about 40% of the plays at the line of scrimmage. “He’s totally, totally cool and confident,” Milner said, “and reacts well in critical and pressure situations.”
