SEASON AT A GLANCE: A bruising runner, Iacenda, 6 feet 1 and 220 pounds, rushed for 1,869 yards, caught 29 passes for 497 yards and scored 39 touchdowns. He finished his career as the Southern Section’s all-time leader with 604 points and 99 touchdowns, a distinction that earned him the nickname “Touchdown Teddy.” In his three-year varsity career, Iacenda rushed for 4,057 yards and had 1,805 yards receiving.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Against top-ranked Antelope Valley on Friday, Iacenda rushed for 163 yards in 30 carries and scored three touchdowns to pace Hart to a 35-28 victory in the Southern Section Division II championship game. With Iacenda scoring on runs of one, 13 and 45 yards, the Indians avenged a 36-15 loss to Antelope Valley in the 1994 title game. He made six runs of 10 yards or more and recorded six tackles as a linebacker.
