The Simi Valley Hospital is hoping people start the year on a calmer note after a free lecture on temper control Monday.
Dinah Hamilton, a licensed clinical social worker, will speak about methods to explore the source of anger and ways to manage it.
The lecture is part of a monthly series on mental health, given through the hospital’s Behavioral Health Center.
Her lecture will also teach methods of constructive arguing and explore how temper control relates to relationships and self-esteem. Hamilton, who practices in Simi Valley, is a specialist in anger management.
The program will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Aspen Outpatient Center, Education Room, 2750 Sycamore Drive, in Simi Valley. Call 582-5000 for reservations.
