Steve Lee, already established as the man to watch in overtime for Notre Dame High, scored in an extra period to beat Harvard-Westlake, 1-0, in a Mission League boys’ match at Harvard-Westlake.
Notre Dame (5-2-1, 3-0-1 in league play) is 2-0-1 in league overtime matches, and Lee has overtime goals in all three.
St. Francis 2, Alemany 1--Basilio Santangelo and Eric Johnson scored for the Knights (14-1, 4-0) in a Mission League match.
Crespi 2, LA Baptist 0--Mike Lafemina had a goal and an assist for the Celts (2-5-3) in a nonleague match at L.A. Baptist (3-8).
Royal 5, Thousand Oaks 2--Sean Gesell, Brandon Kay and Kendall Simmonds scored in overtime for the Highlanders (13-4-1, 4-0) in a Marmonte League match at Royal.
Palmdale 3, Highland 0--Murad Dibbini had two goals and Merrick Henry had one for the Falcons in a Golden League match at Palmdale.
GIRLS
Hart 6, Oak Park 0-- Danielle Hanes scored three goals and Laura Qualls had two goals and two assists for the Indians (8-2-2).
La Canada 2, San Marino 0--Cherisse Heep broke a scoreless tie on a penalty kick in the 70th minute for the Spartans (8-1-1, 1-0) in a Rio Hondo League match.
Royal 2, Thousand Oaks 0--Nikki Paredes and Sandra Del Zoppo scored for the Highlanders (9-4-1, 3-1) in a Marmonte League match at Thousand Oaks (9-2-1, 3-1).
Harvard-Westlake 3, Notre Dame 3--Bri Hadfield had the tying goal for the Knights (5-6-2, 0-1-2) in overtime of the Mission League match at Notre Dame.
