TUSTIN — A 41-year-old man fired a gun at his neighbor after an argument outside their apartments, investigators said Sunday.
A man and a woman at the Rancho Maderas Apartments in the 13400 block of Heritage Way were arguing about 9 p.m. Saturday when the man retrieved a gun from his apartment and fired one round at the woman, Sgt. Steve Lewis said in a statement.
The 25-year-old woman, Samantha Dickerson, who was not injured, ran to a nearby telephone and called for help.
The suspect, Robert MacDonald, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and was being held at the Orange County Jail.
Police didn’t indicate what the argument was about.
