A Treasury Department auction of $28.0 billion in three-month and six-month bills is scheduled for today after being postponed Monday because of the paralyzing blizzard that struck the Atlantic seaboard. . . . . Donald Trump’s publicly traded company, Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts Inc., said it agreed to acquire the Taj Mahal casino hotel in Atlantic City in a deal worth nearly $900 million. . . . Santa Monica-based advertising agency Kovel Kresser & Partners said it will handle Countrywide Funding Corp.’s $10-million direct response account.
