Political Activist to Speak at Meeting
Author and campaign reform activist Shirley Grindle will speak on the “Shadow of Government in Orange County” at a meeting Wednesday hosted by the Committees of Correspondence, an anti-tax government watchdog group.
Grindle is best known for her book “Tin Cup,” which is about reforming political campaigns. The meeting also will include discussions of the county’s financial situation and charter proposal.
The meeting, open to the public, will be in Orange at 7:15 p.m. in the City Council chambers, 300 E. Chapman Ave. Information: (714) 870-5585.
