Comarco Wireless Orders on the Rise

YORBA LINDA — Comarco Inc. said orders received during November and December by its subsidiary, Comarco Wireless Technologies Inc., were nearly double the volume of a year earlier, and orders over the first 11 months of the year were up 68%.
Orders for November and December, the first two months of the company’s fourth quarter, totaled $5.7 million, compared to $2.9 million a year earlier. Orders for the first 11 months were $15.8 million, compared to $9.4 million in the comparable period of 1994.
More than one-third of the orders were for products introduced during the past year, company officials said. Comarco, based in Yorba Linda, makes wireless communications products.
