Concordia Blows Lead, Then Wins in Overtime

Although Concordia blew a 17-point halftime lead, the Eagles managed to defeat California Baptist, 105-96, in overtime, in a Golden State Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Tuesday at Cal Baptist in Riverside.
Danny Barajas had 24 points and 12 assists, Pharoah Jones scored 22 points and Tarik James added 21 points for SCC, which outscored Cal Baptist, 20-11, in the overtime.
Rick Hurt scored 32 points for Cal Baptist.
In another conference game:
Southern California College 79, Point Loma Nazarene 68--Kevin Carlson scored 21 points for host SCC (9-6, 1-0). Chad Urie scored 22 points for Point Loma Nazarene (8-8, 0-1).
In Big West Conference women’s basketball:
UC Santa Barbara 83, Cal State Fullerton 61--Lee Moulin had 16 points and nine rebounds for the Titans (3-10, 0-4).
In the Golden State Athletic conference:
Point Loma Nazarene 74, Southern California College 46--Heather Woodruff scored 10 points for SCC (6-8, 0-1).
