Woman Missing Since Tuesday
Lidia Alarcon, a 45-year-old homemaker from Thousand Oaks, dropped her son off at school Tuesday morning and then dropped out of sight.
Worried family members and friends have been searching for her ever since. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department has also joined the effort, Det. Thomas Bennett said.
“She’s still missing,” Bennett said Friday afternoon.
The 5-foot, 1-inch Alarcon has black hair, brown eyes and weighs about 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red sweater, blue jeans and white tennis shoes, and driving the family’s 1989 brown Ford Aerostar van, license plate 2NRX292, Bennett said.
Family members told detectives that although Alarcon has a history of depression, she seemed fine the morning of her disappearance.
Anyone with information as to Alarcon’s whereabouts is requested to call the Sheriff’s Department at 494-8200.
